Dragon Gate USA Fearless 2011

  • CIMA def. Rich Swan via pinfall. Good opener despite a lot of technical issues.
  • Arik Cannon over AR Fox, Alex Colon, Scott Reed, Tony Nese and Brodie Lee.
  • Yokosuka def. Ricochet via pinfall in an AMAZING contest! Ricochet took two jumbo no katchi lariats!
  • Misaki Mochizuki def. Sammi Callaghan in a stiff match-up!
  • Jon Davis def. Pinkie Sanchez
  • Johnny Gargano vs. Austin Aries was up next. Lots of technical issues during this match that prevented me from seeing its conclusion.
  • Yoshino and Pac retain the tag titles def. Yamato and Akira Tozawa! GREAT main event!

-NOTES-

The beginning of the show was plauged with freezing, frame skips and slow down. The iPPV was good but the technical issues prevented it from being great.

Dragon Gate U.S.A to make "Enter The Dragon 2011" Right

Anyone who ordered the "Enter the Dragon" iPPV this past weekend knows of the major streaming issues that were encountered. One person within the chat room mentioned that the event should have been called "Open the Frozen Gate". That would have been a fair name. Thankfully, DGUSA intends to make right with their customers:

Everyone with WWNLive and Dragon Gate USA wants to thank you for your support and for purchasing the "Enter The Dragon 2011" live iPPV. We would not be here without support.

We deeply apologize for the technical problems of the broadcast. We value you as a customer and want you to always have the best experience with DGUSA and WWNLive. We are embarassed by the situation. We are currently working on solutions to make sure this does not happen again and that you can order WWNLive iPPVs with confidence.

However, we understand that this does not make up for last Sunday. We now offer you two options to remedy the situation:

1) You can request a refund by 5pm on Wednesday, June 8th, and we will issue you a full refund.

2) You can keep your order and watch a re-edited version of the "Enter The Dragon 2011" iPPV and also watch "Open The Southern Gate" as a freebie. You can watch both these events on demand as many times as you want until the DVDs come out. "Open The Southern Gate" is currently unreleased and features PAC & Ricochet vs. Chuck Taylor & Akira Tozawa, CIMA vs. Johnny Gargano, Naruki Doi vs. Jon Moxley, The Breakout Challenge and more.

If you would like a refund please email us immediately. If you want to watch "Enter The Dragon 2011" and "Open The Southern Gate" on demand you don't have to do anything. We will have both events available on demand by Wednesday night.

Once again, we apologize. We greatly value you and always want your experience with us to be a great one. We would not be here without you. That is no cliche, it is the truth. We want to make you a satisfied customer. Please email me back or call if you have any questions.

Thank You,

Austin Aries talks about this weekend's Blood Warriors vs. Ronin feud:

Dragon Gate USA is ready for this weekend

Here is a quickie look at the issues and goals involving the incredible athletes of DGUSA:

-YAMATO: The DGUSA Title holder is on fire after two match of the year candidate title defenses in Atlanta against Austin Aries and Akira Tozawa. The honor and prestige of being Champion has changed YAMATO's attitude. He now wants to be a fighting champion and be the respectable face of DGUSA. He has a chance to solidify his spot as the top dog as part of The Championship Challenge against PAC.

-PAC: He is no longer just an inhuman high-flyer. PAC is one of the most intense, well-rounded wrestlers on the planet. PAC is a franchise player. He can become the face of DGUSA by walking out of the weekend with the DGUSA Open The United Gate and Open The Freedom Gate Titles as part of The Championship Challenge against YAMATO. Also keep an eye on the growing PAC vs. Ricochet rivalry.

-Blood Warriors: They will be represented by CIMA, Austin Aries, Ricochet and Brodie Lee. They have one goal- prove they are the dominant stable. There are two immediate threats- Ronin and the yet-to-be-named stable of Masato Yoshino, PAC, Masaaki Mochizuki and Susumu Yokosuka. Get ready for a lot of action. Just look at the talent involved in this.

-Open The Dream Gate Champion Masaaki Mochizuki and D.U.F. of Sami Callihan and Arik Cannon: We included them together because they will be at war against each other all weekend. Mochizuki is known as the last person in the DGUSA locker room you would want to get into a fight with. Callihan and Cannon are looking to throw down against Japan's top title holder to show that D.U.F. is a force. D.U.F. made the challenge, now can they back it up? This is going to hurt.

-Ronin: Chuck Taylor, Johnny Gargano and Rich Swann have one goal in mind- get revenge on Blood Warriors. Austin Aries and Blood Warriors took the disrespect and hatred to new levels with The Hotlanta Set Up and now Ronin is pissed. The fallout is coming on all three events.

-Susumu Yokosuka: This respected Dragon Gate veteran finally returns to the East Coast for the first time since the debut "Open The Historic Gate" event. He'll fight the battle representing the yet-to-be-named stable by taking on Blood Warrior members Ricochet and Austin Aries in singles matches. Then he'll team with long time partner Mochizuki against D.U.F. in NYC.

-Akira Tozawa: This 2011 breakout star needs to win a title to make his stay in the United States a success. He'll have that opportunity when he teams with YAMATO to challenge Masato Yoshino & PAC for the DGUSA Tag Titles on June 3rd in Revere, MA on live iPPV at WWNLive.com.

-AR Fox: DGUSA officials call him a #1 draft pick for his tools and raw ability. Now Fox will be tested to see if he is the real thing or a bust. It will be a battle of 2011 breakout stars when Fox and Tozawa wrestle on June 4th in Deer Park, NY.

-Pinkie Sanchez: He won FRAY! at EVOLVE to earn a chance in DGUSA. Now he needs a good showing and wins to stay. He'll have that shot when he takes on the #1 draft pick, AR Fox, on June 5th in Manhattan, NY on live iPPV at WWNLive.com. Sanchez has told everyone not to sleep on him this weekend.

-The Rest: DGUSA has expanded its roster to include even more wrestlers than usual on these events. This means that only a few will return. Who will step up and do what it takes to secure their spot? Keep an eye on Jon Davis, Tony Nese, Flip Kendrick, Louis Lyndon, Scott Reed, Caleb Konley, Sugar Dunkerton among others this weekend.

The stakes are high. The world will be watching on iPPV and PPV. It's almost time for action. Be there on June 3rd in Boston, June 4th on Long Island and June 5th in Manhattan or watch June 3rd and 5th at http://www.facebook.com/l/a8433od4_RvHxIteu1PVGrVP6og/www.WWNLive.com on live iPPV. Get in on it!
